Hi, I’m Lindsey!
I’m a freelance creative based in New York City, but available to travel to wherever you are. Let’s work together on a project or three!
(2016 – 2017) I was an ACD/art director at MullenLowe NY.
(2015 – 2016) I was an ACD/art director at Havas NY.
(2013 – 2015) I was a freelance ACD/art director making the rounds at agencies like JWT, McCann, Publicis New York, Publicis Seattle, Hudson Rouge\Team Detroit, Weber Shandwick, MRY, and Deutsch NY.
(2013) I was an ACD/art director at Strawberry Frog.
(2009 – 2013) I was a senior art director at TBWA Chiat Day LA.
(2006 – 2009) I was an art director at Saatchi LA.
(2005 – 2006) I was a designer at Threshold Interactive.
(2000 – 2005) I was some form of junior creative or assistant at Deutsch LA, Arnold DC, the Ad Council, Renegade, and Nasuti&Hinkle…where I first learned what an art director was!
(2000 – 2004) I was an on-campus staff graphic designer at James Madison University, where I graduated with a BA in media arts & design and a graphic design minor.

Before that, I was just a creative kid who knew she wanted to “make cool commercials” someday.

currently live in Astoria, because I heard the food is delicious.
recently moved from the East Village, where I was on a 3-year quest to try every craft cocktail and music venue on the Lower East Side.
transplanted from Venice Beach, and though I lived steps from the surf, sadly never managed to figure out the whole surfing thing.
grew up in the DC suburbs, where field trips included the Library of Congress and actual Supreme Court hearings.
have a talented composer for a boyfriend, a grumpy dog named Tyler Durden, and a pretty puppy named Penny who as you’ll see is made of sugar and spice.
was on Reading Rainbow at age 10.
was voted “class clown” in high school.
was a competitive cheerleader in college.
have driven across the country and back at least four times, once in under 36 hours.
have scuba dived (dove?) the Great Barrier Reef.
have a recurring dream about space travel where, during reentry, I realize I forgot to grab moonrocks for my friends.
have broken both collarbones.
have had two pet squirrels.
can’t wink.
am widely known for my obsession with professional football, indie music, future dystopias, and robin’s egg blue.

received a One Show Shortlist for a banner ad that demonized a gas truck.
received a Cannes Shortlist & Bronze Effie for some solar-powered wifi sculptures.
got Creativity’s pick of the Day for a TV spot chronicling a head of lettuce.
won a Shorty Silver for a music video featuring a giant birth control pill pack AND a neon sign of a uterus.
got various props from The FWA and Creativity for an iAd about a red car and some pink donuts.
helped to create a campaign that lead to boycotts, parodies, unsolicited gif creation, rivalries, and Halloween costumes.
